When you buy a new copy of Gears of War 3 from Gamestop from now until November 6th, you will receive 800 Microsoft Points. You can use those points for anything, but it just so happens that it's the same price of the new Horde Command Pack DLC that just came out on November 1st.
If you buy the game in-store the instructions are printed out on your receipt. If you purchase online, you will be e-mailed the instructions.
